Easter Greetings

I love sketch challenges and couldn't resist doing something
with this cute little bunny image I found for free at
Beary Wishes.

I used the sketch from the current challenge over at

The image was printed on white card stock, colored with spectrum noir markers,
fussy cut and popped with foam tape. The squares were cut
with Sizzix framelits. The flower was punched with a Marvy punch.
The sentiment was computer generated.
I added some Dazzles border stickers and finished with enamel dots.

Easter Tulips

Just a quick post this time around to share an
Easter card I put together.

It's not very often I make a card other than the usual rectangular shape,
but the challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas is to make an "odd" card.
So I chose to do an easel card.
The color combo was inspired by the color challenge at
Inspired by Stamping.

I started with this free digital stamp from Birds Cards
which I colored with spectrum noir markers and fussy cut.

The image was foam taped to the circle die cuts which were cut with
Sizzix framelits and they were place on the
other die cuts which were cut with the Cricut cartridge
"Elegant Edges". All this was placed on the embossed background.
I used some Lifestyle Crafts dies for the sentiment and used a
Martha Stewart border punch and a Fiskars butterfly punch.
The finishing touches were the tiny pearls and pretty bow.
I'm so pleased with the final outcome I'm inspired to
get another easel card made!

I chose to use this beautiful image called

I went with a rectangular shaped card rather than square
and used a circle, rather than the oval for my focal.

with spectrum noir markers. Her dress was printed on
pink vellum 3 times and layered.
The papers and die cut frame are from Hot Off the Press's
Spun Sugar Artful Card Kit.

CASE-ing Christmas Challenge #7

Hi all!  It's February. Can you believe it?
How are we all doing with our Christmas cards for this year?
Do you need help with some inspiration?
If so, then you should check out the current challenge at

It's the challenge where one of the DT members
showcases one of her Christmas cards for you to CASE.

This is the card I made for this week using Donna's card for inspiration.

I liked the chalkboard effect of Donna's card and
used that as the basis for my card. She also used
metallic papers that are embossed and inked and I tried
the same thing. My layout is similar as well.
I also added ribbon like she did and some gems.

So go ahead, check it out at
CASE-ing Christmas
and see what you can  come up with.

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #6

Time for another weekly challenge at
This time we have an Anything Goes theme.

We have 3 sponsors this week and I chose to go with
this sweet digi from Lemon Shortbread called "Fairy Flower Scent".
Here's a closer view.

She was printed on white card stock, colored with Spectrum Noir
pencil colors and fussy cut. I foam taped her onto a vintage sign shape
cut with a template from Hot Off the Press. The printed paper is
from DCWV's "Once Upon a Time" mat stack. I used some ribbon
purchased at Walmart. The flowers were punched and I added pearls
to the centers.I guess I could've added a sentiment but couldn't quite figure
out where to place one. So this card will be fitting for any occasion!

Be sure and check out our fabulous sponsors
and link up your own "Anything Goes" creation at

Okay, I couldn't help myself. I had to do another
Valentine card using Spunky from
and I'm probably going to put together a few more!

This time I took inspiration from

and

Now, off to come up with something else!

Thanks for taking a look!

Be Mine

I'm attempting to get a few more Valentine's cards done today
and I couldn't resist this cute digital image from

"Spunky Valentine"
You can find him here.

What do you think? Isn't he just the cutest?
I printed him on white card stock, colored with
spectrum noir markers and fussy cut.
I thought  the current sketch at
would work great, although I reversed it.
I used one of my favorite embossing folders from
the Paper Studio, a Fiskars border punch and DP,
bakers twine and heart gems from Recollections.

Now, lets see if I can get motivated to get a couple more
Valentines done.

Love is in the Air

Time for another challenge at

This week we have a theme challenge.
"Love is in the Air"

This is what I came up with using this sweet digital stamp called
"Maddie & Jamie Waltz"
from our fabulous sponsor
Lacy Sunshine.

I had a lot of fun putting this one together.
I happened to remember I had all these great Colorbok frames
that I bought years ago at Hobby Lobby and thought this
heart shaped one would work great with the theme.
I added stickles and the heart shaped gems.
I love the way it turned out!

Snowman in Purple

I have some catching up to do on my Christmas cards for this year.
I should be making at least one a week and I've only
managed to get three done so far.
When I woke this morning to about 5 inches of snow I was
inspired to get another one done with a snowman theme.

I actually stamped this snowman when I was working on
my cards last year and didn't use it at the time so I was
glad I didn't throw him away!
The frame and trees were cut with
Sizzix original dies. I once again used one of my favorite
Darice embossing folders.

HOC February Challenge

It's a new month and that means it's time for a new challenge at
This month we have a Word Cue Challenge.

So what kind of card do you think of when you see the word "LOVE"?
Most of you, especially since this is February, probably are thinking Valentine's.
I created a wedding card based on a wedding invitation layout
I did several months ago as a gift.

As you can see, I used the same color combo and layout.
Of course everything was cut down in scale to fit.
I love the way the card turned out!

the month, see what you can come up with and link up with us at
